The
Aragonese invention “Happylegs”, patented as a global pioneering product in the
European Union and United States has received a special award at Inpex 2013 as the
best invention in the
Health
& Fitness category. This event,
which took place in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, is considered the largest and
most important international
invention trade show held in America.
Happylegs is a motorised passive workout solution that moves a personʼs legs while seated. This movement, reactivating the circulation and return of blood to the heart. Its daily use prevents the development of cardiovascular diseases caused when people spend many hours sitting and without moving their legs (this can be seriously harmful to their health).
Its innovative system had a positive impact on both jurors and other international exhibitors, who have requested information about the product to in order to market it in their respective countries.
In addition, the Happylegs team drew attention to the fact that they received many compliments and great enthusiasm from the American press and other participants at Inpex 2013.
The event was attended by Gloria Galvez Perez, manager of Autoergon 2002 S.L., along with the Spanish Inventors Club. “In these trying times, this award has meant a great boost of vitality and optimism for the entire team of an SME like ours, which has been acknowledged for its effort and dedication in a country as powerful as the United States,” explained the Happylegs team, who concluded by saying, “All of us at Happylegs want to offer special encouragement to all Spanish SMEs to go abroad to prove their worth. The recognition of talent and quality is essential if we are to move forward with our companies.”
